24-26 February	Church Camp Held at the Leisure Centre and Resort north of Wollongong, people stay in motel-style units, with lunch and dinner provided on the Saturday and Sunday. It is a wonderful opportunity to relax in the company of other christians, getting to know one another better, and enjoy the beachside environment. There is an informal service on Sunday morning, and on Saturday night people play games or whatever else they choose.
27 October 9am till 2pm	The annual fete. This is a social event for the whole community. Jumping castle, toys, dollar surprises, 'whack-a-rat', fairy floss and face painting for the children. Books, plants, craft, cakes. Come along and buy your home made delicious Christmas pudding here and special Christmas cards. Sweets, jams, White Elephants, bargain "Second Hand Rose" clothing, Silent Auction. As well there will be BBQ, great food stalls, morning tea, snacks, icecreams and soft drinks Great Entertainment! Scottish piper The Celtic Choir Dance group from Dynamic Studios Melba Piping Group The Miles Franklin Band Melba Copland Secondary School Band What's it Worth? "Antiques Appraisal Stall" Ruth and Robert from Canberra Antiques Centre will examine and appraise your memorabilia and collectables. Don't miss this opportunity to have those old family treasures appraised and valued by an expert. You may be pleasantly surprised. (A gold coin donation for this service would be appreciated .)
